Birthday Party Packages

The Greater Plymouth Community Center continues to work diligently to bring these Birthday Party Packages to you. The prices and information provided on this website are valid for 2007 and are subject to change.

POOL PARTIES

Guests will meet in the party room to receive party wristbands and hand
in their signed waivers to the birthday party leader. Once all guests have arrived
the leader will escort the group to the pool area. Their belongings will be placed
on the bleachers, as both space in the locker rooms and their time in the pool will
be limited.
Parents should also be in the pool to assist with supervision and different levels of
swimming ability. The party group will have about an hour and a half of pool time,
then return to the room for pizza, juice, cake and party game (if time allows).

*Please note: If the Leisure Pool is closed, the lap pool will be used for the party.
All Aquatic Center rules must be followed! Children must be at least 48 inches tall
to use the slide. This is for the children’s safety no exceptions can be made.

SPORTS & GAMES PARTIES

Select basketball or a combination of soccer, hockey, dodgeball or kickball
for children ages 5 to 9. Those ages 3 to 4 will enjoy a variety of games such as
softee hockey or soccer, parachute games, octopus tag, etc. Guests will meet
in the party room. The leader will then take the kids to their appropriate location
for their activity, sport or game (Activity Central or the Gymnasium).
After one hour of playing time, the leader will escort the kids to the party room
for pizza, juice, cake, and a party game (time permitting).

ACTIVE ZONE

Active Zone We are excited to offer a new twist to your birthday party, The Active Zone. This interactive fitness gaming area includes dance-dance revolution, game bikes and more. It’s more than just video games. For fees, availability and more information please talk to a party planner.

ARTS & CRAFTS PARTIES

Children can select from a Tie-Dye, Candy Making or Cooking party.
Everyone will meet in a party room. The party leader will assist the kids with their
projects. Some activities may take less than one hour, but generally one hour will be for
the craft and the remaining hour for the pizza, juice, and cake.

Additional Information for each project

Candy Making: Children will learn how to melt chocolate and create different shapes.
The shapes can then be used to decorate the birthday cake or just be eaten.

Cooking Party: Children will enjoy making and eating their own creations.

Tie-Dye Party: Each child must bring one (1) white t-shirt for dying. The children may select from various colors and will be given a bag to take their shirt home.

PRESCHOOL PARTIES

Geared for kids ages 2 to 4 years. They will have the use of the preschool room. Choose from crafts, games, music time, or one of our themed parties; princess, superhero or cowboy! All activities done with the children will be age appropriate. At least five parents must stay in the room for this party! Approximately 45 minutes is set aside in the beginning for the activities and then pizza, juice, and cake will be served. These parties last an hour and a half.

Please read carefully before booking a party Reserving a Party:

Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis.

All reservations must be made in person at the GPCC.

NO reservations will be taken over the phone.

It is recommended that all parties are booked at least 30 days in advance.

Parties may be booked; Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm or Saturdays & Sundays from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.

Please state the number of children that will be attending; be sure to include all siblings. There will be an additional $25 charge for any child over your party package level limit, payable at the end of the party.

No refund will be given if your party number is below the minimum for your party level.

Payment:

A $50 deposit is due with the application. The balance is due 14 days in advance of your party date.

We reserve the right to cancel your party if the balance is not paid 14 days ahead of your party date.

Parties booked within 14 days must be paid in full.

Cancellation Policy:

To have your deposit returned, please submit your cancellation request in writing at least 14 days prior to the scheduled party date.

The Party:

The leaders will guide the party; assist in serving the food & juice and lead the activities. Host parents will be needed in the room to assist in supervising the group and the activities. All children should be picked up promptly. The parent/guardian of the Birthday Child must wait in the lobby with any guests not picked up.

The room will be available to you 10 minutes before the scheduled party time. If you wish, you may put up additional decorations. It is your responsibility to remove any added decorations.

Cake flavors are chocolate, vanilla, half & half or marble. All cakes will be decorated with white icing and “Happy Birthday” and your child’s name.

Plain cheese pizzas are served and you may order extra pies for a fee, no toppings. You may also bring your own food items if you wish.
