Summer POSITIONS Must be 18 or older and available late May to Late August. Duties include but not limited to manual labor such as shoveling, raking, mulching, grass mowing, weed trimming, ball field prep, etc. Pay rate $10/hour. PART-TIME POSITIONS (Evening and weekend hours required for most positions) · After School Recreation Program Instructors: Must be 16 or over. · Police Dispatcher:Part Time. Receive & assign emergency calls. APCO certification preferred. Must be able to work all shifts & holidays. Resume to HR Mgr, 700 Belvoir Rd, Plym Mtg, PA 19462, or email Hrmanager@plymouthtownship.org. · Aquatic Exercise Instructors: Teach water exercises such as water aerobics, low impact, or deep-water exercises. Must be certified by AEA, YMCA, ACE or similar agencies. · Aquatics Supervisors: Assist full-time management staff with administrative duties related to planning, coordinating, and managing the Aquatics Center. Hands-on guarding, swim instruction, and program direction are a strong focus in this position. Must have graduated high school or have GED as well as prior experience as a lifeguard. Training in Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Standard First Aid. · Baby Sitters: Monitor and entertain children in child-care area. Daily in mornings and/or afternoons. Must be 18 or over. · Birthday Party Coordinators/ Activity Leaders (Friday evenings and weekend afternoons and evenings): Must be 16 or over, energetic, enthusiastic, and have experience leading games for children. · Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer. Duties include monitoring the adult &/or youth fitness areas, assessments, and orientations, and one on one training. etc. BS in Exercise Science or related field required but will consider either a college student with at least 3 years of course work in a related field or a certified personal trainer with the certification from a nationally recognized organization (ie ACE, ACSM, etc.). · Cheerleading Instructors: Must be 16 or over. · Sport Instructors: Must be 16 or over. · Intern for Fitness Center: Exercise Specialist Perform fitness assessments, develop fitness programs for members, moniter the fitness floor, aerobics, wellness classes, fitness equipment maintenance, etc. Evenings and some weekend hours required. · Lifeguards: Require CPR for rescue, first aid, and ARC lifeguard certification. Higher wages offered for availability in mornings and early afternoon throughout year. · Recreation Program Instructors: Responsible for program development and instruction for preschool and young children. Must be mature, energetic, good with children, dependable and have flexible schedule. · Special Pool Class Instructors · Volunteers · Water Safety Instructors (all shifts): Require WSI, CPR for rescue, first aid and lifeguard training certification. · Youth Fitness Room Attendant or Program instructor for activities within our new Active Zone - a youth fitness area for 7 to 14 year olds.
